Yumihiro Japan International Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization which aims to be the source of encouragement and hope, by providing care and sharing good values to people. Its goal is to assist disadvantaged families, the youth, and poor communities through different outreach programs. These programs include livelihood projects, healthcare, self-development seminars, and education.
For more than four years, we have provided our youth beneficiaries with school uniforms, bags, shoes, umbrellas, and their daily school allowances. Our scholars also benefit from our healthcare programs, through medical assistance, to ensure that they are in good health. Aside from our scholars, calamity victims and the sick also benefit from our medical assistance. The foundation also has various livelihood training programs for poor communities to help them earn a living. Our team also visits indigent families in far flung areas to lend assistance through our outreach programs. To date, we have a total of 50 scholars: 30 in Region III and 20 in Region XIII. We believe that no one should be left behind to pursue their dreams or have better lives.
“Education Across the Nation” is our foundation’s most significant program to date. It helped spread literacy to underprivileged students from the provinces of Bulacan, Tarlac (where most of the Aetas live), and Surigao Del Sur. We provide them with school bags, school supplies, umbrellas, slippers, and hygiene kits for their daily needs. This program is also paired with our Outreach Program through feeding programs and gift-giving activities.
“Pamaskong Handog” is our annual activity held every 28th of December. Our beneficiaries receive grocery gift packages and cash gifts to help them celebrate the Yuletide season.
Yumihiro Japan International Foundation, Inc. was established in 2015 by our Founder, Kaichou Arleen Ramos Miyakawa- 会長 宮川 彩. Our foundation was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last February 17, 2015. It’s also registered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Philippines (DSWD) in 2015 and received its Accreditation Certificate in February 2018. Our main office is located in Villa Tierra Subdivision, Barangay San Roque, Pandi, Bulacan. We also have a branch in the Caraga Administrative Region (CARAGA) in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, Philippines.
Yumihiro Foundation-Bislig Branch was opened in April 2018. Our aim is to help indigents in the CARAGA Region, through our healthcare and education programs. Families and communities in remote areas are visited by our Bislig team to assess their needs. They make sure that they will have the best medical care and medicines at all times. Students in the region, also enjoy the same benefits like their Region III counterparts. Thanks to our volunteers, we are ready to reach out to more indigent people in the region.
